Punjabi Chickpea Masala Daal
- 1 pack of The Spice Tailor Punjabi Chickpea Masala (chickpeas included)
- 1-2 tsp hot vegetable oil or ghee
- Small fistful of chopped coriander to serve
- Fry the spices from the whole spice sachet in 1-2 tsp of hot oil (or ghee) until sizzling.
- Stir in the Tarka Sauce (the small pouch) and bring to a simmer.
- Add the chickpeas from the large pouch and 2-3 tbsp water and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the chopped coriander and serve with naan, Indian flat breads or basmati rice.
