Chicken Satay Skewers

Enjoy an easy assembly, simply marinate your chicken in the nutty marinade, grill and pair with our velvety satay sauce. We’ve chosen chicken as our skewers; however, vegetable skewers would also beautifully complement this recipe. Dress with chopped peanuts and lime wedges for that extra crunch and zing.
Method
Step one
If you’re using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for 30 mins before using them.
Step two
In a bowl, mix the diced chicken with the base sauce (from the smaller pouch), 2 tbsp. of the main sauce (from the larger pouch) and the vegetable oil and leave to marinate for as long as possible. 10 minutes is fine but overnight is better!
Step three
Thread the chicken onto the skewers and heat the grill to a high heat. Line a tray with foil and place the skewers on top. Place under the grill for 8-10 minutes, turning them every few minutes until the chicken is lightly charred and cooked through.
Step four
Prepare the sauce by gently heating the remaining main sauce in a small saucepan and serve alongside the skewers.
Step five
Scatter over the chopped peanuts, squeeze over some lime and tuck in!
Please ensure food is cooked through and piping hot before serving.
