Classic Tarka Daal
- 1 pack of The Spice Tailor Classic Lentil Tarka Daal (lentils included)
- 1-2 tsp. vegetable oil or ghee
- Heat the oil or ghee in a saucepan. Add the whole spices, including the extra chilli if you would like some heat and cook until the cumin seeds are sizzling and colouring.
- Stir in the tarka sauce (the small pouch) and bring to a simmer.
- Add the lentils and a small splash of water, if you would like a thinner consistency, bring to a simmer and serve!
