Ingredients
  • 1 pack of The Spice Tailor Sticky Soy Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 300g sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 150g small broccoli florets
  • 1 pak choi, stems sliced and leaves left whole
  • Short grain white rice to serve (optional)

Garnishes:

  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
Method
  1. To prepare, place a pan or wok over a medium high heat and add 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil. Add the sliced steak and fry for a minute or so until browned, then add the onion and broccoli.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add in the pak choi stems and the sliced red pepper. Cook until softened, then pour in the stir fry sauce from the packet and give everything a good stir so all ingredients are coated.
  3. Add in the pak choi leaves and leave to heat through for a minute or so, then serve with spring onions scattered over the top and a bowl of short grain rice.

MADE WITH OUR DELICIOUS
Sticky Soy Teriyaki

Fire up the wok and pair this glossy, umami-rich Teriyaki sauce with your choice of stir fried meat, tofu or vegetables for a heavenly dish, ready in mere minutes. Maximum flavour with minimal effort.

Stir fries are the perfect introduction to Asian cooking. The technique of stir frying originated in China, but has since been adopted by other Asian nations. ‘Wok hei’ - which roughly translates to ‘breath of the wok’- encapsulates the magic art of the stir fry. The simple act of tossing food over high heat imparts flavour and caramelisation and makes stir fry food so delicious. It’s certainly a new favourite of ours here at The Spice Tailor.

This Stir Fry Sauce is inspired by classic Japanese Teriyaki flavours and is full of sweet and savoury, umami deliciousness. Simply fry, coat, sizzle, and serve for a delicious, restaurant quality stir fry in minutes.
