Where it all began

The Spice Tailor was founded with a mission to help you broaden your food horizon and enjoy restaurant quality versions of our favourite Indian and Asian dishes. Our journey started in India, the mother-country of our female founder, Anjum Anand - an Indian TV chef, cookbook writer and mother who was looking for a more convenient way to cook her favourite childhood dishes. With necessity being the mother of invention, she used her cooking expertise to create a range of 3-step Indian curry kits, aiming to bring the flavours of her childhood to your kitchens. Borne out of this was The Spice Tailor. After forming a team of fellow food-lovers with a shared passion for all things food, flavour and spice, The Spice Tailor began on a voyage through our favourite dishes from India and Asia, helping you cook restaurant quality meals in minutes at home with our variety of products.
